Comme je ne comprends pas le kanji en tout cas, je vais essayer d'écrire en français: pour ma part je préfère françoise hardy mais j'avoue ne pas très bien connaître les chanteuses françaises. Merci donc pour cette découverte.
Au fait, je n'ai pas compris le post sur rauschenberg non plus mais je l'aime bien; j'ai vu l'exposition de ses combines au Met l'année dernière. Et ça fait longtemps que je n'écris pas en français -- merci de l'inspiration!
lol ! Gosh, French classes were an eternity ago ...... I'm actually a big Francoise Hardy man myself - Ma Jeunesse Fout L'camp ? only the most awesome album to come out of the 60s ! - but I really enjoy this particular rendition of La Plus Belle. Unfortunately, Vartan never again quite matches the ingenue-esque combination of soulfulness and sex appeal that she demonstrates so well here. And yeah, despite the lack of linguistic comprehension, I'm totally into French stuff, esp the 60s scene. Can anyone say Gainsbourg ?
There isn't too much to my previous post about Rauschenberg. (Unsurprisingly, since my Japanese can only be described as primitive.) His Bed is the topic of a midterm essay due soon, and I was merely grousing about my unproductiveness in completing the task. I'm glad to meet a fellow connoiseur of the Neo-Dada movement though. :)
